Host ‘<hostname>’ is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with ‘mysqladmin flush-hosts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By default, mysqld blocks a host after 10 connection errors. You can adjust the value by starting the server like this:

shell> mysqld_safe –max_connect_errors=10000 &

or
Enter the following in the my.cnf under [mysqld] by

vim /etc/my.cnf
set-variable = max_connections=10000

Listing all files that a running database !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lsof -nc mysqld | grep -vE ‘(\.so(\..*)?$|\.frm|\.MY?|\.ibd|ib_logfile|ibdata|TCP)’
